The Gates Biomanufacturing Facility (GBF) is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that translates innovative research discoveries into safe and effective cell therapy and protein biologic products for human clinical trials. Located just north of the Anschutz Medical Campus, the GBF serves both campus investigators as well as for-profit clients. The facility contains 20,000 square feet of space and operates under FDA “Good Manufacturing Practice” guidelines, which assure proper design, monitoring and control of manufacturing processes, testing laboratories and facilities. The GBF has proven essential in engagement of research talent present on the Anschutz Medical Campus as well as in talent recruitment nationwide.
