The Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP) encourages outstanding undergraduates to consider careers in biomedical research and regenerative medicine. State-of-the-art training opportunities are provided in Gates Institute members' laboratories.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

GSIP is open to applicants from all backgrounds who are in a science-related major and enrolled in an undergraduate program at the time of application. We will be accepting applications for the class of 2024 beginning December 1.

MENTORS

GSIP mentors are critical to our interns' experiences and to our program's success. Accepted interns will have the opportunity to learn about participating mentors and indicate their preferences from Gates Center members with a wide variety of research interests.

SEMINAR SERIES

Seminars are an integral component of the Gates Summer Internship Program and cover diverse topics. GSIP mentors and other faculty investigators and clinicians showcase their various career paths and discoveries.

FINAL DAY PROGRAM

Each summer GSIP celebrates the exceptional interns who participate in the program by hosting a keynote lecturer and showcasing their research in a poster competition at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus!
