CU is working with the vendor to investigate and resolve the issue. CU does not control the platform. We cannot provide a timeline for resolution. This incident is impacting Canvas instances globally and is part of the larger data breach reported to you on Monday. We will provide additional updates as they are available.
Diane G. Wallach serves as Partner of MCT Incorporated and Managing Partner of Cody Overlook LLC. Previously, she worked for Cody Resources, Gates Rubber Company, Gould Deltec, and Citibank.
On a professional level, she also serves on the boards of Cody Overlook LLC, and GFR LLC (ranching). Previously, she served on the boards of Bear Creek Inc. (private trust company), Hat Creek Energy, Gates Capital Management and Gates Capital Partners (private equity funds). Wallach’s community service includes current board positions on the Gates Frontiers Fund; Cardigan Mountain School (Emerita); and the Gates Institute at CU Anschutz. Previously, Wallach served on the boards of IAALS (University of Denver’s Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System); Gates Family Foundation; Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Outward Bound School and Outward Bound USA, Denver Art Museum Foundation, and Colorado Zoological Trust. Wallach earned both her bachelor’s degree in human biology (1976) and master’s degree in business administration (1983) from Stanford University, where she competed in intercollegiate field hockey, skiing and lacrosse. An enthusiastic cyclist, hiker, kayaker, and puzzler, she and her husband, Marshall F. Wallach, live in Denver, Colorado, and have three grown sons and two grandchildren.
