Jane E. Rech
Program Coordinator
Jane wears a few hats at Gates Institute as a program coordinator -- for the Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP), the Gates Institute Seminar Series, Gates Institute Membership, and the Gates Grubstake Award Program.
Prior to working at the Gate Institute, Jane was a program associate for the Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine and before that, she was a volunteer there. For nine years, she served on the Board of Trustees at St. Anne's Episcopal School. She has volunteered in a development capacity for St. Anne’s Episcopal School, the Kent Denver School, and Williams College.
Jane double majored in Chemistry and English at Williams College and received a doctorate in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University.
Fun fact: Jane grew up in a blended family with eight siblings. Jane says they are a competitive lot who actively enjoy spending time with each other.
