Veena Krishnamoorthy

Head of Preclinical Development

As Head of Preclinical Development, Veena Krishnamoorthy, PhD, leads a team of scientists and researchers who are transforming cell therapy for cancer and other indications. Veena’s role at the Gates Institute is to bridge the gap between research work done at the lab(s) of the principal investigator(s) and the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility.  She earned her PhD in Immunology from the University of Chicago and has over eight years of experience in the biotechnology industry. When she is not working, Veena loves spending time with her family in the great outdoors whether climbing, backpacking or skiing.
