Krutika PatelKrutika joined the Gates Institute as a Clinical Trial Operations Manager in October 2024 with an education in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering (BS) from the Colorado School of Mines and in Biotechnology: Regenerative & Stem Cell Technologies (MS) from Johns Hopkins University. She brings five years of experience working to optimize and execute protocols to manufacture various clinical grade cell-based products for phase I/II trials. This experience includes manufacturing of CAR-T cell products at the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility and experience with iPSC reprogramming and associated cell culture expansions and differentiations. With the Gates Institute, Kruti is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day clinical trial operations activities run efficiently and according to regulations, while supporting the needs of the clinical sites, study monitors, product management teams, and Clinical Investigations and Regulatory Sciences subject matter experts. Above all, she is passionate to drive advancements in regenerative medicines such as cell therapy forward to help people in need of novel treatments. Born and raised in Colorado, you can find Krutika spending as much time as she can in the mountainous outdoors, whether hiking with her adventure dog, running, or skiing!
