Chanel describes herself as a small town girl (hometown pop. 716) who found her niche as a research professional specializing in clinical trial regulations and operations at academic institutions. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in public health, and has worked with clinical trials in a variety of capacities, including at a Contract Research Organization (CRO) and as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) application analyst. She’s worked at CU Anschutz since moving to Colorado in 2011; during this time, she’s been able to sharpen her professional skills while also exploring our beautiful state by foot, on skis, by kayak, and by sleeping under the stars as often as possible. Chanel says her role at Gates Institute enables her to bridge several of her passions together – organizing, leading, continuously improving, and most importantly, helping to impact patient lives and transform healthcare.
